How do ShockBlockers® Insole Inserts absorb more shock than other leading insoles?

It is the unique molecular structure of the ShockBlockers® Insole Inserts material that helps dampen negative shock!

As you’ll see from the accompanying video clips of actual impact tests, you’ll witness for yourself how the ShockBlockers® Insole Inserts compare to leading inserts made of commonly used materials such as Gel, Polyurethane and Memory Foam.

The higher the ball bounces off of the insole after impact indicates the greater degree of impact shock transferred back to you, the wearer. It is impact shock that is the cause of excessive foot fatigue and pain.  The lower the ball bounces, the more effective is the insole at eliminating this impact shock thereby creating a much more comfortable environment for your hardworking feet.

As you’ll see, the competitors’ Gel, Memory Foam and Polyurethane insoles send a much larger percentage of the impact shock right back to your foot. That shock is then transmitted through your skeletal structure, affecting various joints and muscles along the way and ultimately increasing the likelihood of foot, knee, back and joint pain or injury.

By using the ShockBlocker® Insole Insert in your shoes or boots you will help eliminate nearly all of this unwanted impact shock, making you and your feet much HAPPIER.

How was the test conducted?

A steel ball measuring 1” in diameter and weighing 2.5 ounces was dropped from a height of 36” through a clear acrylic tube onto the heel portion of the insole to be tested.  To eliminate any spring in the surface upon which the test was to be conducted, the insole was placed on a 3/16” thick steel plate measuring 4” x 11¼”.  This steel plate was then placed on a 3/8” thick piece of acrylic measuring 8” x 14”.
